ARMFIGHT - PLANET CLUB VARNA

On 03 June 2011 (Friday), the "Planet Club" - Varna (Bulgaria) has become in arena of Armfight between Bulgaria and Romania. The competition was in two events on right hand - in category -86 kg and in category +95 kg. The events were lead according to the Armfight system (every event contains 6 rounds).
The first event, in the lighter weight class up to 86 kg right hand, was between the national champion of Bulgaria Kaloyan Tumbev and the national champion of Romania Daniel Andronache. Tumbev has made a real spectacle and after disputed duels, he has overcome his Romanian rival with result 6:0.
The second event has appeared more disputed, in the heavy weigh class over 95 kg right hand, between Kaloyan Petrov and the national champion of Romania Ovidiu Iacob. Kaloyan has won the 1st round, in the 2nd round Ovidiu has won and equalized. The next 3rd and 4th rounds were won again by Petrov and so the result was 3:1 for the Bulgarian competitor. In 5th round Ovidiu has got victory, because Kaloyan was made two fouls. By this way, by result 3:2, the emotions just have begun to boil before the last 6th round. In 6th round Ovidiu has equal chances to make result equal, but Petrov was utmost mobilized. For forth way, Petrov has bent down the hand of his Romanian rival and winning the 6th round, Kaloyan has made the result to be 4:2 for him. By this way, Kaloyan Petrov has won the event and Bulgaria has won the Armfight again Romania with overall result 2:0.
The host of the next armwrestling competition in Bulgaria will be the town Pomorie (on the Black sea's coast). In Sunday 12 June 2011 with I Round starts The Professional Armwrestling League Bulgaria 2011, with the participation of the strongest Bulgarian armwrestling competitors.

Sunday 12 June 2011, on "Prosveta" square in Pomorie (Bulgaria) has held THE PROFESSIONAL ARMWRESTLING LEAGUE BULGARIA 2011 - heavy weight class (over 86 kg). Emil Ilchev ( Iron Hands Pomorie) has won the competition ahead of his own-town audience, with total amount of 224 points on left and right hand. Emil has overcome all his opponents on left hand and has appeared second on right hand. After Ilchev, 2nd has classed himself the European vice-champion Nikolay Ivanov ("Adrenaline" - Sofia. Nikolay has won the competition on right, but has classed forth on right hand and this gave him the 2nd place with total amount of 210 points. 3rd has left Stefan Mitov ("AEC" - Kozloduy) with 199 points.
The biggest Armwrestling showman in Bulgaria Marin Pantaleev (also known as "Uncle Marin", from "Vitosha Armwrestling" - Sofia) has classed himself 4th with amount of 189 points. Martin Georgiev ("Etur-87" - Veliko Turnovo) has appeared 5th with amount of 174 points. Nedko Petkov ("Adrenaline" - Sofia) has got the 6th place with 170 points. After Nedko, on 7th place has classed himself his club-colleague Stefan Todorov with 156 points. Emanuil Manasiev ("Vitosha Armwrestling" - Sofia) has got the last 8th place with amount of 134 points.

"Planet Club" - Plovdiv (Bulgaria) has become in arena of incredible spectacular events from The Professional Armwrestling League, held late in the night on 25 June 2011. ARMFIGHT is a system, in that the two competitors are fighting in an event of 6 rounds.
Still In the first event, weight class up to 86 kg right hand, between the world vice-champion Stefan Lengarov ("Vitosha Armwrestling" - Sofia) and the national champion of Bulgaria Kaloyan Tumbev ("Adrenaline" - Sofia), a surprise has occurred. Kaloyan has succeeded 5 times to bent down the hand of the world vice-champion. Tumbev has lost from Stefan only the 1st round and winning the other 5 rounds, Tumbev has won the event with overall result 5:1.
A real big spectacle for the public was the second event, weigh class over 95 kg right hand, between the young hope of the Bulgarian Armwrestling Kaloyan Petrov ("Adrenaline" - Sofia) and one of the most spectacular Bulgarian competitors - the European vice-champion Marin Pantaleev (also known as "Uncle Marin", from "Vitosha Armwrestling" - Sofia). Kaloyan Petrov and Marin Pantaleev have began their event extremely contested. In 1st round Kaloyan hardly has won over Marin. This fact has literally enraged the big showmen Marin, who has made the result equal in 2nd round, 1:1. In 3rd round Petrov has won again, leading with 2:1. In 4th round Pantaleev has equalized again - 2:2. From here on, the event's end result was coming to be decided in the last two rounds. The two competitors were infinitely tired, but Marin Pantaleev was the fresher from the two competitors. Pantaleev has won the 5th and after that the 6th round against Petrov. By this way Marin Pantaleev has won the event with overall result 4:2.
